 penjelasannya lihat dibawah ini!

Understanding The Procedure Text

What is procedural text? Procedural text is a text that explains, informs, or helps the reader on how to make or use something. In bahasa Indonesia, the definition of procedure text is text that provides instructions, informs, or helps the reader about how to create or do something.

Usually, this type of text begins with the phrase “How to...”, for example “How to make a cup of tea” or “How to operate an oven”. Procedure text is widely available in cookbooks and manuals (manual book).

Purpose Of Procedure Text

The purpose of procedure text is to show how something is made/used/done through sequence of steps. If interpreted in Indonesian, the purpose of procedure text is to explain how something is made, done or used through successive steps.

In other words, the procedure text is used to outline one by one how something can be created or achieved. Through procedure text, you will find it easier to understand and read instructions on how to do things in the right order.

Well, procedure text consists of several aspects. Approximately, what aspects of yes are contained in the text of the procedure? In writing procedure text in English, there are two important aspects that need to be understood and learned, namely the structure and language. Here's the full explanation, yes.

Structure Of Procedure Text

The structure of the procedure text consists of three parts, you know! What is the structure of the procedure text? There are goals, materials, and steps.

- Goal

A Goal is a procedural text structure that explains the purpose or progress.

- Materials

Materials is a procedure text structure that describes the tools and materials needed.

- Steps

The next procedure text structure is steps, which contains steps or instructions in making or doing something.

The Language Of Procedural Text

After knowing the structure contained in the procedure text, now let's learn about the rules of the language. What are the rules of procedure text? Let's talk about it!

1. Using The Simple Present Tense

You have to write in the Present Tense, guys! This is because in the procedure text there are command sentences about how to make or do something.

2. Using Imperative Sentences

What is the meaning of imperative sentences in the procedure text? Imperative sentences are always preceded by verb 1 of an action verb or a verb that involves physical activity. You don't need to use a subject at the beginning of the sentence.

Example: Add 3 onions and mix it well.  This sentence is preceded by the verb 1, add. There is no subject at the beginning of the sentence Yes.

3. Use Of Words (Connectives)

Connectives are used in a procedure text to connect the steps in it so that the list of instructions made is coherent and easy to understand.

Examples: first, second, then, after that, and finally.

4. Use Of Adverbs (Adverbs)

Adverbs are used to indicate time. There are 2 types of adverbs or adverbs used in procedure text, namely:

Adverb of time is an adverb that indicates how long you have to do something. Example: in 10 minutes, for 1 hour.

Adverb of manner or how to do something. Example: slowly, well, even.

How to Make Pizza

Ingredients

1. Dough

2 ½ cups warm water (600 mL)

1 teaspoon sugar

2 teaspoons active dry yeast

7 cups all-purpose flour (875 g), plus more for dusting

6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more for greasing

1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt

¼ cup semolina flour (30 g)

2. Tomato Sauce

28 oz canned whole tomatoes (795 g)

1 tablespoon kosher salt

Steps

Firstly, “bloom” the yeast by sprinkling the sugar and yeast in the warm water.

Let sit for 10 minutes, until bubbles form on the surface.

Combine the flour and salt in a large bowl.

Make a well in the middle and add the olive oil and bloomed yeast mixture.

Mix until a shaggy dough begins to form using a spoon.

Turn the dough out onto a clean work surface and knead for 10-15 minutes.

Then grease a clean, large bowl with olive oil and place the dough inside

Punch down the dough and turn it out onto a lightly floured work surface.

After that, preheat the oven as high as your oven will allow, between 450-500˚F (230-260˚C).

Place a pizza stone, heavy baking sheet (turn upside down so the surface is flat), or cast iron skillet in the oven.

Meanwhile, make the tomato sauce: Add the salt to the can of tomatoes and puree with an immersion blender, or transfer to a blender or food processor, and puree until smooth.

Take a portion and start by poking the surface with your fingertips once the dough has rested.

Then, stretch and press the dough into a thin round.

Sprinkle semolina onto an upside down baking sheet and place the stretched crust onto it. Add the sauce and ingredients of your choice.

Slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or pan. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the crust and cheese are golden brown.

Add any garnish of your preference.
